I was so excited when Art Resin asked me to join their artist's challenge and create an original piece of art using their Artist Resin - a product made by artists for artists. I have been "painting" with resin for a couple years now, and still learning what this amazing medium is capable of. Resin tends to have a mind of its own, and is hard to control at times. I think this freedom is what initially drew me to try resin as I typically paint more realistic with oils and acrylics. Painting with resin forces you to release some control over to the medium and let the MAGIC just happen. I have found that there is no better medium to show the depth and motion of water!
I put together a little video documenting my journey creating a little beach painting with Art Resin. The Art Resin was easy to work with and allowed for an extended drying time which I was happy to have.
It was an honor to participate with Art Resin in this challenge. I really loved using the product, and plan on creating with this product again in the future.
